Wilmer Mora
Wilmer Najarro Mora was born in Habana. In 2000 Wilmer obtained a Diploma Bailerin Professor at the ENA (Escuela Nacional de Arte de l 'Habana), specializing in Cuban Folklore. Subjects studied: Rumba and Afro (Guaguancò, Yambu and columbia), Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Spanish Dance. During his studies he joined the Body of Dance DANCE COMPANY OF THE CUBAN TV. He then continued his artistic experience in the corps de ballet of the MACUMBA SHOW DE LA HABANA and body dance Conjunto Folklorico Nacional de Cuba.
Arrived in Italy in 2002 and became part of the dance troupe Show Restaurant "EL NIÑO DE FUEGO" of Numana. Begin to work with various schools. Since 2006 she has been invited to the biggest shows and events in Latin world throughout Europe, involved as teacher and artist.
Wilmer and his partner Maria are in possession of the Italian diploma of "Master of Dance" with specialties in Caribbean Dances recognized and awarded by the MIDA-Italian Masters Dance Sports-Professional Association of Teachers of Dance and Dance-technical FIDS-Italian Dance Sport Federation-National Sports Federation recognized by CONI.
Maria Torres
Maria Del Carmen Moreno Torres are born in Habana. Maria graduated in 2000 from the Academy of Dance Tropicana Bailarina of 'Habana. She studied ballet, modern, contemporary, Cuban folklore, Spanish dance. After graduation as a dancer, she continued her artistic career as a dancer in the corps de ballet of TROPICANA CABARET SHOW and the MACUMBA in Havana.
Arrived in Italy in 2002 and became part of the dance troupe Show Restaurant "EL NIÑO DE FUEGO" of Numana. Begin to work with various schools. Since 2006 she has been invited to the biggest shows and events in Latin world throughout Europe, involved as teacher and artist.

Jennifer Fojaco
Jennifer Fojaco was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Since the age of eleven she started her career as a professional dancer in the school of Arts Benny More, in Cienfuegos. In 2003 she graduated as a professional dancer in Musical Shows National Art School (ENA) in Havana. After some years working in different dance groups in Havana, she moved to Spain and joined the company of Adrian and Anita in Barcelona. Here she obtained the third place in the Championship of Spain by groups. After moving to Salamanca she teamed up with the company Fusion Latina. This group has twice won the title Bachata Team Master of Spain and runners-up in the world bachata group championship. In addition to the performing, Jennifer is working as a instructor in ballet, jazz, modern dance and Latin dance. When taking her classes you will notice the quality in here teaching and the way she manage to transmit this to here students.
Javier Jiménez
Javier Jimenez was born in Havana, Cuba. He started his dance career at the age of twelve at the art school in the city of Cienfuegos, Cuba. In 2003 he graduated as a professional dancer of contemporary dance and folklore at The National Art School (ENA) in Havana. Once finished his studies he joined the dance group Yoldance, this company made several tours in Germany with the musical Viva Cuba! After some years dancing in Cuba he packed his luggage and moved to Salamanca, Spain. Here he is working as an instructor of Latin dances. Javier is also choreographer and a dancer in the famous dance group Fusion Latina. This group has twice won the Spanish Bachata Master Team and runners-up in the World Bachata Masters Teams. Javier is well known to bring joy and energy into his classes, but at the same time making it easy for the student to understand the techniques and moves.
Alex Alberola
Alex Alberola was born in Barcelona, Spain. He is the founder and director of Ballroom Salsa Dance Company since late 2010. In the beginning it was originated as a salsa on1 dance company mixed with ballroom dance, later specializing in bachatango and sensual bachata. Alex has previously dance background as a dancer, trainer and instructor of ballroom dance for many years. During his training as dancer, Alex has received lessons from the most prestigious dancers all around Europe and he has been dancer of the Adrian and Anita Amateur Dance Company and Acento Latino. Today He is travelling around the world at different bachata festival, teaching and giving shows. Alex is know to create a nice atmosphere in his classes, but at the same time keeping the quality of the teaching.
Luis Vazquez
Luis Vazquez began dancing Salsa in 1992. He was inspired by many movies such as “Lolita’s Way” and the movie “Salsa” but his true inspiration came from his older brother Francisco Vazquez. Francisco introduced him to Salsa in 1992 when Francisco was learning the first salsa steps. Luis and his brothers are considered to be the pioneers of the LA Salsa Style on1. Luis’s salsa dance style continues to inspire people to reach and exceed their boundaries. His aura, personality and vibrant energy is tremendously contagious. His creativity in music, costumes, routines and stunts has taken showmanship to the next level. Luis Vazquez is known world wide for having one of the best dance leads and is definitely a Super Social Dancer at the Night Clubs! His instructional dance workshops with Melissa Fernandez are known to be one of the funniest and always jammed packed. Today Luis is living Malmø, Sweden, where he has established his own dance school..
Jazzy Ruiz
Jazzy started his dance career at the age of 5 at his parents’ dance school in Antigua, Guatemala. He received a broad dance education in jazz, contemporary dance, ballet, break dance, hip hop, Latin jazz, flamenco and other Latin dances such as salsa, mambo, Afro-Cuban and show dance.
Inspired by his artistic heritage, he began his work as an instructor at the age of 15 at his family’s dance school, and also at cultural centers and events. After leaving Guatemala, Jazzy continued his education at «Den Norske Ballethøyskolen» in Oslo and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Performing Arts and Pedagogy. During his studies he went to Cuba where he studied ballet, contemporary and Afro Cuban dances at “Ballet Nacional de Cuba of Alicia Alonso”.
He started his international career as a professional dancer and instructor in 2001, when he was touring Europe, among other places,as a representative for Norway. He started his own dance school in 2002. Jazzy has participated in various TV shows like «So you think you can dance ?» and as a choreographer in «Skal vi danse?» on TV2.
Alexisstyle Ruiz
Alexis Ruiz started dancing and playing instruments almost before he could walk. Growing up in Antigua, Guatemala, his mother taught him to dance and teach together with her at her school Ritmo Latino. At the age of 12 he started teaching salsa/mambo and a diverse variety of latin dances and latin percussion. He has since then been teaching for over 25 years.
At the age of 17, he moved to Japan where he opened his own dance school and created his own Latin jazz sextet "Foribale". After 8 years in Japan, he moved to Norway. Here he introduced the musicality of mambo to the salsa community and his concept of mambo masterclass was born. He is world famous for his lectures about "Salsa roots" where he dives into the history of both the music and the dance, and also the different musical influences in salsa.
In Norway he is known for playing with some of the best salsa bands like Sonora Cimarron and La Descarga.
He is currently running his own school together with his wife and dance partner Iselin. A-custica Performing Arts teaches mambo and tap dance.
Vyara Klisurska
Vyara is a professional ballroom and salsa dancer, music theatre performer, director and choreographer. Vyara is the winner of Dancing with the Stars season in Vietnam in 2016-2017. In 2018-2019 she completed a contract on board MS Color Fantasy, Norway as a speciality act and ballroom dance captain. She also choreographed for the 2entertain production shows on board Color Fantasy 2019-2020. Over the last 5 years she have been choreographing and performing for TV shows, World Stars Dance Festivals, music theatre shows, tours and music videos and she also has been teaching workshops and dance lessons in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Croatia, Vietnam, Spain, Norway and Germany.
Iselin Ruiz
Iselin started dancing when she was 4 years old. She’s been trained in everything from ballet, jazz, hiphop, salsa and house, but found her style and passion when she was 16 years old; Tap dance. She has been a student at schools like At tickle toes steppdansskole, Circle - Det norske hiphop huset, Subsdans, Salsakompaniet, Fagerborg vgs and Subjazz. She became a member of Oslo Tap Crew (oslo steppdanskompani) in 2012 and performed on regular basis with the company when it was active. In 2019 she started Allure Tap company, who has become a leading tap dance- and jazz company in Norway. With and without her company she has several times performed at "Oslo jazzdansfestival" and also been a part of the expert panel discussingand lecturing in dance history. She has also had the opportunity to teach, jam and dance at different places all over the world.
The last years she has dived into her Mambo career and had the opportunity to learn from, teach and dance with her husband Alexis Ruiz.
Magda Prichodko
Magda took her first ballet class at the age of seven. From then on she has never given up dancing. She has dancing background in ballet, jazz, disco dance, acrobatics, hip hop, contact-improvisation, latin and swing. In 2005 Together with the Polish disco dance group V2 she took 4th place in World Disco Dance Championship. The same year she accidentally dropped by a salsa club in Warsaw and fell in love with salsa at once. Six months later she joined Salsa Libre team, becoming performer and salsa teacher. Together with Salsa Libre she has performed on many stages in Poland and abroad. In January 2009 she accepted the invitation of the biggest Norwegian latin school Salsa Kompaniet and moved to Oslo. She has been teaching and performing with such names as Jazzy Ruiz, Alexis Ruiz and Luis Vazquez. During those years she has established her position of leading female salsa artist in Scandinavia and one of the best in Europe. From 2011 she has worked as pedagog and choreographer for Bårdar Akademiet, and featured Norwegian TV shows "Stjernekamp" and "Alt er lov". In 2017 she moved to Trondheim to take position of head instructor in SalsaNor. She travels internationally for dance workshops, dance choreography bootcamps and performances. She is known for her unique expressive dance style, musicality and social dance skills. She enjoys dancing latin dances, swing as well as jazz and contact-improvisation. But social dancing remains always her greatest love, bringing joy of connection and improvisation on the dance floor.
Fabian Vallejos
Fabian was born in Argentina and grow up in Bolivia and from 2002 he lives in Sweden. He is the director and creator of Dance Vida company. He has been dancing professional since 2004 and his first passion was Salsa. Fabian started his carrier winning the Scandinavian Salsa Championship, the Swedish Championship, third place in the European salsa championship and competed also in the World Salsa Championship in Orlando USA he finished 11 of 56 couples. He started dancing Bachata since 2010 and competed in the Bachata World Championship in 2012, and now he is opening his love to other dance styles like Kizomba, Tango and WCS. He is traveling most weekends of the year for the biggest dance events in the world, to teach, perform and be a jury in dance competitions.
Livia Bågenholm
Livia is an experienced dancer from Sweden who has been dancing for many years. She specializes in teaching salsa and bachata, putting a strong emphasis on technique and creating positive, happy classes. Livia is passionate about dancing, and loves to share it with others. She has a great eye for detail and is dedicated to helping her students achieve their goals and reach their full potential. Livia is now the female head teacher at Dance Vida, one of the biggest dance schools in Gothenburg.
Val Danza
Valerie, a.k.a Val Danza is a classically trained dancer. From the tender age of three she danced ballet. In 2009 she added Salsa and Bachata to her repertoire and finally fell in love with Kizomba and Urban Kiz. Ever since she has trained and mastered the craft of teaching those beautiful dances with her specialty in Urban Kiz.
Val’s dedication has resulted in her travelling around the world teaching Partnerwork and Lady-styling at major festivals and collaborating with both, local and international teachers. In 2018 she moved to Oslo to contribute to the growth of the dance community in Scandinavia.
She is known for her professionalism, positive energy and the ability to identify the needs of her students. Teaching the follower’s as well as the leader’s role, Val knows exactly how to break down the content for both sides. In class her enthusiasm and passion for teaching can be seen as all her students leave feeling confident and accomplished.
She values not only connection, technique and musicality but also emotions and creativity while paying attention to details and creating a fun and inspiring environment for her students to learn.
Iris Reder
Iris Reder is a professional dancer who graduated from The Norwegian College of Dance in 2014, with a bachelor degree in dance and pedagogy. She majored in jazz dance, but also studied other techniques such as ballet and modern dance. Iris has experience from teaching ballet, musical, show jazz, lyrical jazz, latin jazz, street dance, salsa all levels, lady styling and bachata. She started working, teaching and performing with Jazzy Ruiz in March 2014. She had her international debut show at Hamburg Salsa festival 2014. In her profession as a dancer, Iris values musicality, a strong technical base and an artistic expression that reflects her sharpness, elegance and versatility. Today Iris is working at Salsa Kompaniet in Oslo, teaching lady styling, salsa and bachata.
Geovanni Rangel
Geovanni Rangel, originally from Guatemala and is now based in Malmö, Sweden. He is a professional latin dancer with over 10 years of experience teaching, performing and choreographing across the world. For most of his dance life Geovannni has been a salsa-enthusiast and mambo ambassador. He loves the world of On2 dancing and his teaching is focused on bringing this passion to his student. Giovanni will give you a lot of useful tips and hints on how to improve your social skills. You can enjoy his classes at the festival and for sure it will be a blast.
Jennie Hartnor
Jennie Hartnor is born in Sweden. She has been dancing since she was a child and soon found the love for Latin music and dance. She started moving around to get more experiences and have been based and trained in Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico and NYC.She is now based in Malmø, where she teached together with her partner Giovanni. She specializing in salsa On2 and its musical interpretations. Her energy and dedication during the classes, together with years of expereince is making her students enjoying every minutes of her teaching. Theodore Awadzi
Theodore Wolashie Awadzi aka Theo is the founder of KizombaTk a branch of Dancation Dance UK. He is both the IDO UK kizomba Champion for 2012 as well as the UKA salsa champion 2012 which was held in Bolton. Born in the West African Country of Ghana, Theo has come from a background of dance and choreography. Theo’s dancing and teaching has earned him fame and recognition across the UK and abroad. His excellent teaching style has resulted in him travelling all around the UK as well as Europe teaching and carrying out workshops. He has an extensive background of teaching semba, kuduru, kizomba, azonto as well as may Latin forms of dance . His unique teaching style is always full of fun and energy. His teaching technique is fun based concentrating on footwork and then steadily progressing into the body motion, partner work and styling for both partners. Dancing is his way of Life and this is evident in his classes as everyone leaves with a feeling of self-accomplishment.
Martine Brænna
Martine is the owner and main instructor of RHYTHM Dance School, and is educated at the Opera Ballet School. She then attended the Oslo Academy of the Arts, where she received a bachelor's degree in jazz, and the Broadway Dance Center in New York. She is world champion and European champion in disco, European champion in jazz, and Norwegian champion in disco, freestyle, slow, show, jazz and modern. In recent years, Martine has worked with many different people both as a choreographer and dancer, including as a showgirl at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, the musical Cabaret at Oslo Nye Teater, various music videos, MGP, Stjernekamp, De Neste and the musical Grease in Trondheim. She has also taught at several schools such as the Oslo Academy of the Arts, Bårdar, Edvard munch, Art and Studio 1. Today she works mainly for the company Show de Vida, where she is the main dancer and dance captain. Martine has a distinctive style when she teaches, with a lot of focus on dance joy, technique and movement quality.
Aliochy Aragon
Aliochy is the owner and founder of RHYTHM Dance School - where he is the General Manager and head instructor. He has many years of experience in the industry, both as a dancer and instructor. He has a bachelor's degree in dance and pedagogy from the Norwegian Dance Academy, and is a former soloist in the Cuban cabaret company Wilfredo Figueredo. He was also a soloist in the tabanka crew, which is Scandinavia's largest company focusing on African and Caribbean dance. Today he works for the company Show de Vida, both as Artistic Director and lead dancer. They tour around Norway and Europe and do performances. Aliochy has previously danced on major stages such as Den Norske Opera, Dansens Hus and Riksscenen, as well as participated in TV Programs such as MGP, Stjernekamp, Skal Vi Danse, God Morgen Norge, Allsang etc. He has also worked with some of the best dancers in the world, such as Yoel Carreno and Osiel Gouneo. Aliochy has a unique way of teaching, with lots of energy, dancing joy and endurance training. He creates a fantastic atmosphere where he brings his Cuban culture and charisma with him. He has previously taught at Latin room and dancecity, and started up Cuban salsa at the salsa company.
Miguel Carrazana
Miguel is the owner and main instructor of RHYTHM Dance School. He has many years of experience as both a dancer and an instructor. He has a bachelor's degree in dance and pedagogy from the Norwegian Dance Academy, and is a former soloist in the Cuban cabaret company Wilfredo Figueredo. He was also part of the Tabanka Crew for several years, which is the largest company in Scandinavia that focuses on African and Caribbean dance. Today he works for the company Show de Vida as Performance Manager and main dancer, where he tours around Norway and Europe and holds performances. Miguel has previously danced on big stages such as Den Norske Opera, Dansens Hus and Riksscenen, as well as participated in TV Programs such as MGP, Stjernekamp, Skal Vi Danse, God Morgen Norge, Allsang etc. Miguel uses his fantastic technique and special style in teaching, and is guaranteed to give you a good mood, desire to dance and quality of movement.
Jonas Örkner
Jonas is a full time professional contemporary dancer who has worked as a dancer and choreographer since graduating the Stockholm ballet academy in 2004. He has worked with everything from Musicals to physical theater and contemporary works. In early years, before attending Ballet academy, he focused his energy on music with saxophone and drums as his instruments. He quickly found a passion for Latin American music playing in latin jazz bands as well as samba orchestras. After teaching salsa classes for several years he started a show team in 2020 called Mambo Vikings. As a contemporary dancer he has toured and worked in almost all continents performing and teaching. From 2007-2009 he was the artistic director for the dance company at the state theater in Jönköping. He’s also worked in some well merited companies like Carte Blanche in Norway and Norrdans in Sweden to name a few. As a teacher he has been giving classes and workshops to professional companies and amateurs around the world from Puerto Rico to South Africa and Iraq to name a few. He has choreographed for professional and semi-professional companies since 2007.
Maria Alkyona
Born and raised in Crete Greece, Maria started dancing Greek Folkloric dance since before she can remember. Since 2017 she has been teaching and performing salsa and Belly dance in Greece. She was part of the main teachers in Idance studio in Crete as well as part of the Salsa Mystics team. She has traveled around Europe to attend in international festivals. She moved to Denmark in 2021 to further educate herself in dance and got a Diploma from the International Dance Academy of Copenhagen and is now based in Malmö Sweden. 2019 she become the Balkan salsa Champion in the pro solist category and 2022 she placed 2nd in Greek championship at the salsa spring festival. In 2021 she formed Alkyonides Lady styling team
Eva Brown
Kinga - Eva Brown is a Hungarian / English / Swedish dance teacher from Gothenburg . She has been dancing since the age of three with ballet and contemporary jazz. She became a professional dancer, graduated from Choros dance school Gothenburg and Stocholm. She also graduated as a professional dancer and teacher from the Dance academy Stockholm. After some years working in different dance groups in Gothenburg , she moved to U.K and joined the London academy of dance.
She obtained first place in the Salsa Championship of Gothenburg and third place on salsa championship
street edition. After moving back to Gothenburg she teamed up with various dance companies where she is working as a dance teacher in salsa , styling , footwork, bachata , cha cha cha and more. She has also performed in several national and international dance festivals and congresses as well as choreographed performance teams. She has a teachers degree and a dancers degree as well as decades of dance experience.
When taking her classes you will notice the professionalism and structure in her teaching as well as high tempo, coordination and musicality.
Lisa Ask
Lisa Ask, Sweden, is a dancer and instructor, with years of experience from all around the world. Although her first steps as a dancer developed in her home town Gothenburg in Sweden, its when she decided to explore and move to places like Cuba and Barcelona, that her skills grew to professional, standards. Here she really focused in on styles like Afro Cuban, Afro contemporary, salsa and son. Since then Lisa has played many important roles as both a dancer and as an instructor in several renowned dance companies and in countries like Spain, Norway and Sweden.
After moving to Oslo 7 years ago, she has work for many of the dance schools in this city. Today Lisa is a dance instructor and proud member of Salsakompaniet in Oslo. She is also an integral part of the ladies group Las Despeinadas. Lisa loves to teach and her main focus is to help the students to improve the social dancing skills and to learn how to be playful on the dance floor. For her the main goal is to really convey and transmit the playfulness, joy and good energy that comes with Cuban music.
Marit Amundsen
Marit has always loved to dance and started teaching at the age of 15. When Marit discovered Cuban Salsa and Rueda de Casino in Bergen in 2005, she found her passion in life. She gave her first Rueda class in Cuba in 2007 and has since taught partner work and Rueda at BSI Dans, Danseglede/Salsakompaniet and at international festivals like, the Norwegian Rueda Congress, the Rueda Festival in Stockholm, and the Rueda Festival in Stuttgart.
Marit is known for her pedagogy and focuses on having fun, how to follow and lead, how to make a Rueda flow, how to educate new Cantantes, Feminist Rueda de Casino and crazy hard shit in Rueda.
Marit is a member of the international Rueda group TWSS That’s What She Said.
Alian Morales
Alain Morales was born in Havanna, Cuba and is a fantastic dancer and instructor. He came to Europe in 2000 with The group Iré Batà and now lives in Italy, but from 2007 he has been working around the scandinavian countries.
Alain is one of the best rumberos in Europe, and his Colombia-shows are spectacular. He was a dancer of the Compañía de danza contemporánea de Narciso Medina.
Yasmany Arzuagawa
Luis Yasmany Hidalgo Arzuagawa s born in Cuba in 1988. In 2006 he graduated from National Arts School (ISA) in Cuba in folklórico/Cuban afro and gained my professional teacher certificate. Since then he has gained great international professional experience across the world. Yasmany has been a part of prestigious dance companies in Cuba such as, The Wilfredo Figueredo Musical Show Company, Performing Arts Folklórico Company of the province of Cienfuegos and The Tata Ero Folklórico Afro Project, as well as The Tiempos Sabás Company in the Province of Havana. In additation, he has performed in numerous of shows, arts, TV and cultural productions on National TV in Cuba. In 2018 he moved to China and joined the Dance Así Shanghai as a dancer and professional teacher at The Dance Academys Azúcar And N'Tempo. Yasmany has 17 years of international professional artistic experience and is a teacher you are sure to enjoy his workshops.
Vilde Fauchald
Vilde has danced since 2004 and has a background in jazz, ballet and contemporary. In 2010 she started dancing salsa and other latin american dance styles. She has been teachinig at Salsakompaniet for many years and travlled to many internation festivals both teaching and performing with different dance groups. Vilde has also choreographed for small and big show teams and is especially known for her contribution to Las Despeinadas.
Kamelia Javadi
Kamelia Javadi is a dance artist with background from Hiphop, Dancehall and Afrobeats. Gradually she developed a strong passion for Cuban Salsa. Kamelia has danced in Tabanka Dance Ensemble where they dance African and Caribbean contemporary dance. With Tabanka, she has performed in, among other things, Limbo (2017) at The Norwegian National Opera & Ballet, I:OBJECT (2018) and Jazz ain`t Nothing but Soul (2021) at Dansens Hus.
In 2023 Kamelia will tour with Impure Company/Hooman Sharifi in Norway and Europe with the production Sacrifice While Lost in Salted Earth (Dansens Hus, January 2023). Kamelia has taught at a number of dance schools and teaches Hip Hop, Afrobeats, Cuban Salsa and Dominican Bachata.
